I've worked things out with the new branch manager at the office. He's being very generous in trying to work things out so I do not have to pay back the $2500 the company paid me to move out here (after taxes, I only got $1600 of that but, eh). He understands the friction between myself and the general manager (who will be in attendance all the time until April). Since the day I came to work here, the general manager (he was branch manager at the time) has not had one single nice thing to say to me.
So, I'm looking for a job, which I hate doing. However, the branch manager has stated he'll help me out and even told me he has a couple leads for me today. Hmm... how do I tell him I'd rather find a job in Maryland? ::chuckles:: I've been sending my resume out to a few places in Maryland, hopefully I'll get a nibble soon.
I hope the next two weeks go by fast so Michael and I can see each other again. At least this time we have a nice four day weekend together. I can't wait.
